Cargo Ship WIP

Description

So, I've been re-creating my Cargo Ship Model.  It is the only ship I've done with full interiors and I don't think I did that great of a job.  I'm re-doing the whole thing.  I've got an imgur gallery going which has more pictures, but this is an overview.

So far, I have created a more detailed interior structure.  Each deck is framed out and the entire ship has a skeleton which is similar to the design of modern naval architecture.  The main hull of the ship is more streamlined and less random.  wherever possible, I minimized the number of surfaces on the hull.  later, I will smooth some corners.  I kept the overall design, complete with that catwalk which I liked so much.

Next step is more windows and the large bay doors.  Also, I will try to get a docking collar on the front end, but I'm not sure who it will dock with yet.

If you review this work, please review the whole thing, including the imgur album! thanks!

Update 1:  Installed more windows and the main cargo door framing.  It still needs work and the door is rough, but it is a good start.  The cargo door will be split into two pieces eventually.

Question:  I am having trouble deciding what to do with the cargo door.  Should it split horizontally or vertically and should it slide, swing, or something else?

I've looked at your imgur...i can just say A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
Especially the catwalk with that blast door at the end of the corridor. Fine handwork ;)
If i had to choose for the design of the cargo door...i gotta consider factors like the environment on where those doors can be open and where does this ships moves...In space only or also on a planet's surface? Into the hangar of a large ship? then would be better to have them slide, to avoid collisions with other objects that an hangar can have..
When doors opens, is there oxigen or is void space? All its surface needs to be moved to open it, or a door/tube collar built on it can be used? (like the mobile stairs used for a normal flight into a everyday airport)
As u see i don't have answers but questions. may them be helpful to you to find that design:P
